The spaceWhat's great about this property is that it is a sanctuary, tucked away on a quiet residential street, while being just 100 meters from Jericho's lively high street.
Walking through the door you are immediately embraced by a large, warm and bright living area, with a TV and sofa at the front and a dining area at the back, towards the kitchen, and french doors leading out to a good sized back yard.
The kitchen, at the back of the ground floor, is modern and well equipped, with a dishwasher, electric oven, induction hobs, a large fridge-freezer and a washing machine.
Up the stairs, the first room you meet is the recently fitted bathroom. This is good sized bathroom with a separate bath and shower.

Additional notesAs any regular visitor to Oxford will know, the city welcomes visitors with open arms - unfortunately the same can't be said for their cars! Parking in Oxford is notoriously difficult and the suburb of Jericho is no exception.
Cranham street does have a limited number of spaces, but use is restricted to 2 hours between 08:00 - 18:30, Monday - Saturday.
Most visitors tend to use the park and ride bus service, where you can park your car in a car park on the outskirts of the city and take a bus in. The bus stop is an 8 minute walk from the cottage.
Alternatively, there is a paid car park at Walton Well Road, 10 minutes walk (800m) from the property. At the time of writing, the rate for 24 hours is £15.60. Another option would be to use one of the parking space sharing sites (such as JustPark) to arrange to use someone's spot closer to home.
Guest interactionI am always available to help guests with any questions or issues that they might have!
Neighborhood overviewThe cottage sits in the heart of Jericho - Oxford's trendiest neighbourhood. Thanks, in no small part, to its proximity to several Oxford colleges, Jericho has a young and cosmopolitan, yet affluent vibe. The main street (Walton Street) with its shop, cafes, bars and restaurants is wonderfully vibrant and characterful, and just 170 meters from your front door!
Getting aroundBeing fairly close to the centre of Oxford, getting around is best achieved on foot, or at least on cycle (or scooter). There are lots of Lime bikes and scooters for hire around the area - just download the app to find your nearest one!
Getting into the city centre takes around 15 minutes walking, which you can either do via the nearby tree lined canal (for a quiet, tranquil meander past a succession of characterful Narrow Boats), or along Walton Street, past a number of notable University buildings including the great Oxford University Press.
For a dose of countryside, Oxford's iconic Port Meadow - an ancient grazing meadow predating the Doomsday Book of 1086 - is less than a 10 minute walk from the cottage. Here you can walk along the Thames and visit some great pubs along the river.
